DINWIDDIE, Mary Jane - Putnam

Corporal Robert D. Dinwiddie, a member of Company C, 29th Regiment Indiana Volunteers, fell whilst nobly and patriotically defending the flag of his country at the battle of Murfreesboro, Tennessee on the 31st day of December 1862  his age was 24 years.

Near San Pierre, April 9th, 1863, Mary Jane Dinwiddie, aged 19 years.  At the same place, on the 11th of April (inst) David Dinwiddie aged 15 years.  This is a severe affliction to our former fellow-citizen, JB Dinwiddie who has thus in the brief space of a few months, lost three members of his family! - kbz
